Try three short questions about access, cloud responsibility, and risk. Each answer comes with a useful explanation.

Least privilegeConcept 01 / 03

An analyst needs to read one team’s reports but must not change them. Which access assignment best follows least privilege?

  1. Give an editor role limited to that team’s report folder.
  2. Give a read-only role limited to that team’s report folder.
  3. Give a read-only role across every team’s report folder.
  4. Give an administrator role and review its use each month.
Reveal the answer

Give a read-only role limited to that team’s report folder. The analyst needs permission to read only the relevant reports. A scoped read-only role meets that need without granting write access or access to unrelated teams. Broader roles add permissions the task does not require.

Your ISC2 practice exam questions, answered

Choose the right practice pack and understand how ExamsDigest study resources fit into your certification preparation.

Start with the role and topics that interest you. CC covers cybersecurity fundamentals, SSCP focuses on day-to-day security operations, CCSP addresses cloud security, and ISSAP focuses on security architecture. Compare the current official exam outline and certification requirements with your experience before choosing a pack.
ISC2 does not require professional work experience for Certified in Cybersecurity (CC). It is an entry-level credential covering core cybersecurity concepts. Passing the exam and completing ISC2’s certification process are separate from buying or completing an ExamsDigest practice pack.

SSCP covers the operation and administration of secure systems. CCSP focuses on protecting cloud environments, including their data, applications and infrastructure. ISSAP focuses on the design and analysis of security architecture. These are different specialisms with their own certification requirements.

CISSP is not the only route. ISC2 currently lists an ISSAP route for CISSP holders with two years of relevant experience and an alternative route based on seven years of cumulative relevant experience. Domain and waiver rules apply, so check the current official ISSAP requirements before choosing your route.
Organize your study around the current official exam content outline. Complete a question set, review each explanation and revisit the relevant concepts or guidance. Pay attention to the role in the scenario: an auditor, risk owner and security manager can have different responsibilities.
