Candidates are encouraged to use this document to help prepare for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 (220-1101) certification exam. In order to receive the CompTIA A+ certification, you must pass two exams: Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102). This is equivalent to 12 months of hands-on experience working in a help desk support technician, desktop support technician, or field service technician job role.
